When necessary, the GAF System Plus Limited Warranty may also cover a complete roof tear-off.
- GAF Silver Pledge® Limited Warranty:
This option offers the same coverage as the System Plus: a lifetime warranty term for shingles, Smart Choice Protection period of up to 50 years, wind warranty term of up to 15 years and 25-year algae warranty term for StainGuard Plus shingles and ridge cap shingles. Silver Pledge®, however, covers both roof tear-off and disposal. Plus, it comes with 10-year coverage on workmanship.

It comes with 50-year coverage on materials and 25-year coverage on workmanship. Following the roof installation, a multi-point checkup by a GAF certified inspector may also be performed to ensure the work meets stringent quality specifications.
